Downloading & Installing Natural Drums

Here is a brief guide on downloading and installing Natural Drums.

 

Important Info:

Natural Drums is only supported on macOS 10.15 and above. Windows and Linux are not currently supported.

Downloading Natural Drums

  • To download the installer file for Natural Drums, you have two options:
    • Find the download link in your order confirmation email
    • Go to Downloads in your account dashboard on the DAACI website
  • Once on the download page, please click on the link that matches your system and it will be automatically downloaded to your computer. Please note there are two versions to chose between.

Which version to choose


    • If you have an Intel Mac you should download the Mac (Intel) version.
    • If you have an Apple Silicon Mac in most cases you should download the Mac (Apple Silicon) version. 
    • EXCEPTIONS
      • If you are running your DAW using Rosetta you should download the Mac (Intel) version.
      • If you are using Cubase you should install the Mac (Intel) version regardless of your processor.

Please note - The download links available in your order confirmation and account will always host the most recent version of the software.

Installing Natural Drums

  • Double click on the downloaded file to launch the installer and follow the instructions. At the end you should see a window saying “The installation was successful”.
  • If you wish to check that Natural Drums has installed on your system, open Finder and navigate to: User > YourUserName > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST3
  • If Natural Drums has installed correctly you should see a file named N-Drums.vst3.

To access your Library folder - Open Finder and select Go in the menu bar at the top of the screen. If you can't see the Library folder is the Go menu, hold down the option key and it should appear. Keep the option key held down and click on Library to open the library folder.
