- Crash in MacOS 11 and below
Status: Fixed in v0.1.8.1
We have come to realise that the new update from apple was incompatible with older versions of macOS, so we have released v0.1.8.1 that addresses this issue.
Thanks to our users especially Scott, Aaron, Peter, Michael, & George for helping us troubleshoot this. - Installation Issues

When there are instruments in the project that are known to cause latency.
See workaround - Crash in Ableton Live before the Plugin opens
When you try to put the N-Drums plugin to a track Ableton immediately crashes, this only happens with versions of Ableton Live prior to v11.3.21.
Fix: Download the latest version of Ableton Live. - Garage Band doesn't see N-Drums
N-Drums is currently only provided as MIDIFX. Garage Band does not support MIDIFX, however, we are actively working on a new version of N-Drums that will come equipped with its own sounds, making it usable as a standalone instrument. If Garage Band doesn't detect the instrument version of N-Drums please follow the link below for a workaround.

Activation Issues Troubleshooting
- Make sure you have enough activations left in your license key.
- Navigate to the license keys tab in your DAACI account.
- Under activation status you can see how many activations you have used and the total number of activation.
- If you want to delete some activations to reuse them in other machines, click on the View button and delete the unused activations from there.
- Navigate to the license keys tab in your DAACI account.
- Make sure you are using the correct email for the license key.
- Navigate to the Orders tab in your DAACI account and orders tab.
- Click on the relevant order and check the billing details for the associated email address.

Problem with latency compensation in Logic
When using instruments that produce latency, then Logic Pro attempts to compensate for this latency and delays the audio output of the rest of the channels in order to synq all the channels up. N-Drums does not produce latency but when used as a MIDI FX but somehow Logic's attempt to sync the track results in the N-Drums preview to sound slightly off. The MIDI export is synced and behaves as expected.
The workaround is to use the delay track property to sync them up. Add delay to the track N-Drums is used until the sound matches. Bear in mind that in order for the delay property to have effect on the sound you need to stop the playback and then hit play again.
Installation Issues
Some times the installation might fail with the message "Installation Failed"
The only reason, that we've discovered so far that provokes the installer to fail is that the files cannot be copied to the correct folder. We expect the plug-in to be installed in the user's ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins, whereas some other plug-ins are copied to the System Library.
Please navigate to the Plug-Ins directory by opening a finder window and from the menu select Go > Library. If you can't see Go in the list, hold down the option key and it should appear. Make sure that the folder Audio exists and that you have permissions to modify it.
Right click on the Audio directory and select Get Info and check in the Sharing & Permissions tab that your user (the one with the "Me" in brackets has both Read & Write priviledges.
Please also make sure that you have the above permissions for all the relevant folders, namely Audio, the Plug-Ins folder that is inside Audio, the Components folder that is inside Plug-Ins and the VST3 folder inside Plug-Ins.
Also please make sure there is no other folder in Components or VST3 that is called "N-Drums" or "N-Drums MIDI-FX".
If all this looks OK, then please try running the installer and when you see the screen below (Installation Type) please click on the "Change Install Location..." which will lead you to the next screen (Destination Select).
Before clicking "Continue" please make sure to click on the "Install for me only" even thought it might look selected already.
This should work as expected.
Please restart your machine before opening any DAW.
Garage Band discoverability workaround
Our installer by default chooses the safest place to install N-Drums, that requires minimum permissions. This is the users's Library folder. In some cases Garage Band requires the plugins to be in the system Library folder.
The user Library folder contains similar structure with the system one with the only difference that it's only discoverable by the current user and that it is not so protected as the system one. You can add and remove content to the user library without being an admin to the computer. Usually applications look in both those folders to discover plug-ins and other relevant data. In the case of Garage Band it sometimes doesn't look into the user folder at all. So copying N-Drums over to the system Library folder will make Garage Band see N-Drums.
You can find the user Libary by going to the home folder and hitting the following keys at the same time to reveal the hidden directories. CMD+SHIFT+.
Once the hidden directories are revealed you can nagivate to the LIbrary folder, then to the Audio folder and finally into the Plug-Ins folder. There you can find the Components folder and the VST3 folder. Those two folders contain the AU and VST3 versions of N-Drums respectively. The plugin will work if it's moved (or copied) to the system Library folder in the equivalent folder.
