Vocals are recorded over the top of the loops and do not stay within the loop structure.
Note: It is recommended to set up the song structure first.
- Vocal Recorder: Accessed by clicking the middle of the vocals section on the wheel.
- Record Button (White Circle): Press to start recording after a counter.
- Strips: Each recording (a take) appears in a separate strip. Subsequent recordings will appear in new strips.
- Record Over: You can record over existing takes.
- Delete (Bin Icon): Each strip has a bin icon to delete the recording.
- Voice Slider: Controls the volume level of the vocals.
- Rev (Reverb): Adds reverb.
- Del (Delay/Echo): Adds echoes.
- Headphones: It is recommended to use headphones during recording to avoid instrumental sounds being picked up by the microphone. Any sound can be recorded, although the functions of the Vocal Recorder are only intended to modify vocals.
