Using Natural Drums as a Virtual Instrument

  1. Add an instrument track by selecting Track > New… in the top menu bar, and then selecting Instrument track in the dropdown of the pop-up box that appears. Click Create

 2. Click on one of the INSERTS slots in the track header and navigate to multichannel          plug-in > Instrument and select N-Drums (stereo)

(If you don’t see INSERTS in the track header, click on Edit Window View Selector icon and make sure inserts A-E and/or F-J are selected.)

Using Natural Drums as a MIDI FX

  1. Create two new instrument tracks as per step 1 in the instrument section above
  2. On the first track add N-Drums MIDI FX to one of the INSERTS slots
  3. On the second track add the MIDI instrument you wish to be triggered by N-Drums MIDI FX and enable track record (the button in red on the image below)
  4. In the INSTRUMENT panel on the second track, click the upper box (MIDI input selector) and select N-Drums MIDI FX Out > all channels
