Using Natural Drums in GarageBand

Using Natural Drums as a Virtual Instrument

  1. Add a track to your GarageBand project by selecting Track > New Track from the toolbar menu
  2. In the pop-up window, select Software Instrument and click Create

3. Select Smart Controls and GarageBand will display the Smart Controls pane in the    lower part of the GarageBand window

4. On the Smart Controls pane, click the Track button and expand the Plug-ins menu

5. In the Plug-ins menu select N-Drums

6. There's a chance that you'll get a warning saying that you need to lower the security settings for GarageBand. In order to use N-Drums, you'll need to click on Lower Security Settings. This is typical for using any VST/AU in GarageBand, so don't worry!
