Using Natural Drums in Cubase

For Mac users on Cubase V12 and earlier, install the Mac (Intel) version of Natural Drums regardless of whether your processor is Intel or Apple Silicon

Use Natural Drums as a Virtual Instrument

Add an instrument track by selecting Project > Add Track > Instrument and selecting N-Drums plugin from the pop up menu

Use Natural Drums as a MIDI FX

  1. Add an instrument track by selecting Project > Add Track > Instrument and selecting N-Drums MIDIFX plugin from the pop up menu
  2. Select either a newly created or existing instrument track that you would like to use to play the drum pattern from Natural Drums
  3. Select N-Drums MIDIFX MIDI Output as the MIDI input to this instrument track
  4. Make sure the red Recording button is ON in the instrument track
