On this page you will see a wheel divided into segments and surrounded by several different icons. Each segment of the wheel itself represents a different musical instrument that you can modify within your track. Other icons have various functions that change the structure, speed, or other characteristics of your track.
- Instruments:
- Drums: Create a drum beat for your track.
- Bass: Create bass lines using the graphical interface to control how dense or busy it is. Use the grid to change its melodic shape.
- Pads: Change the character of your chord parts by dragging, pinching and swiping on the graphical interface and add richness using the colour control.
- Percussion: Coming soon!
- Keys: Add different rhythmic chord parts and choose between several different playing styles.
- Melody: Draw in shapes on the grid to add melodic lines to your piece.
- Vocals: Click in the centre of the wheel to record your own vocal parts and add effects.
- Musical note icon (left):
- Choose the chord progression for your track.
- Scroll the different styles of chord writing.
- Choose different shapes to move between different chord progressions.
- Squares are ‘home’ chords.
- Triangles are ‘away from home’ chords.
- Circles are ‘coming back home’ chords.
- Change key by clicking the arrow
- Brightness: move the slider to the right to make your chord progression more uplifting
- Flavour: choose A or B for different methods of chord writing
- Musical note icon (right):
- Click on the different coloured grids to change the rhythmic feel of the different rhythm groups.
- BPM:
- Make your track faster or slower by clicking on the plus or minus buttons.
- Mixer (top right):
- Set the volume and effects for each of your instruments.
- Play button:
- Pause or play your track.
- Loop:
- Turn looping on or off for each section.
